Preparing Content For a Project

    Preparing Content

Working with a web design company can be an exhausting task. At Dreamcube Studios, we’d like to make this process as easy as it can get for the client as it will make our work easier. Here are some steps anyone can take to prepare work for a web design company.

    Get Understanding if not understood

We have a lot of clients and are still working with many that don’t understand what terms we use in some points of our conversation in meetings. If you don’t understand it’s alright, please ask. At times we tend to speak our second language of design and we don’t realize that what we’re saying seems like another language, which it is. It helps us be certain that the information we’re explaining to you you’re receiving and not letting it fly way over your head. Especially in the quote overview, we want you to be clear of what services you’re receiving. Even though at DCS, we try to provide clear details in all of our documents, we still want you to be clear in all details.

    Handy content

If you have photos, videos, and event text content from a previous site and want to use it for your new website, have it handy and ready for your new project. Most times, design companies will ask if you have content to be placed in your site, or even ideas for logos, be prepared to submit this content over through email, mail and even disk form. It will provide us a guideline to follow so that we can work in a clear state instead of a thick fog of turmoil and possibly future issues of misunderstanding of direction. This brings us to our next mark.

Your ideas are a great lead

Similar to the one above, if you have any design, layout or even color coordination ideas, we as designers and developers want to know. This will give us a great start in the design brainstorming process allowing us to have a clue where you want your site to be headed. Of course, we’ll always try to include all the ideas that have been given, but the designer thinks that they don’t make the cut, we’ll try to improve them and get your approval if it still meets the same concept that you first had in mind. We don’t have Dreamcube as our name for nothing.

    Closing

Providing content, ideas and drafts furthers the designer’s mind of understanding, design and development towards the interpretation of the dream you’ve had in mind. Provide all you can when you can during the process of your project launch. Don’t hold any perception in, release it all, I mean, we are dream launchers.

If you have any thoughts or extra ideas in ways to prepare, share your thoughts and leave a comment. I’d love to hear ‘em.

What a lovely blog. I spend hours on the internet reading blogs, about tons of different subjects. I have to first of all give kudos to whoever created your website and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an post. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only a few posses and frankly you have it. The combination of informative and quality content is definitely extremely rare with the large amount of blogs on the internet.

You’re not requred to believe it. You’re not requried to believe in gods either. Buddhists don’t really care what you think; it’s up to you, and regardless of whether you believe in something or not isn’t anywhere close to as essential as what your measures are and whether you are wholesomely pleased or not.
